A2 Component 1: Personal Investigation KEY INFORMATION
Non-exam Assessment 60% of qualification.

Consists of two integrated constituent parts: Level: Advanced and AS Level
A major in-depth critical, practical and theoretical
investigative project/portfolio and outcome/s based Examining Board: WJEC
on themes and subject matter that have personal
significance. An extended written element of 1000 Subject Leader: Mrs R. Jeffery

and must clearly relate to practical and theoretical
work using an appropriate working vocabulary and Entry Requirements:
specialist terminology. The Personal Investigation C+ at GCSE or equivalent and

marks are submitted to WJEC by the May deadline)
