Our Senior Leader for Progess and Learning and Achievement for All, Mr. Owen Morgan, works closely with teachers, Learning Support teachers, Learning Support Assistants and our Youth Access Worker to identify issues and barriers to learning. Support may be provided in curriculum areas or by withdrawal from lessons.
With regard to disabled access, each need is individually assessed and a risk assessment carried out to ensure necessary arrangements are in place.
We work closely with external agencies and services such as the Educational Psychologist, the Specific Learning Difficulties Service (SpLD), the Health Authority, GEMS and the Young Carers Team to support vulnerable students and those with additional learning needs.
