GCSE Results 2016

PRESS RELEASE – CHEPSTOW SCHOOL GCSE RESULTS 25/8/16

Chepstow School are celebrating another set of great GCSE results. 

10% of students achieved 8 or more A* and A grades and 17% 5 or more A* and A grades.

71% students achieved GCSE English at C grade or above

73% students achieved GCSE maths at C grade or above

92% students achieved GCSE or equivalent science at C grade or above

100% students leave with a qualification.
 

The school is particularly pleased with the performance of students at the highest grades.  20% of GCSE grades were at A* or A and 89% were at A* - C.
 

We are especially proud of our 3 students from Hwb Dysgu, who finished year 11 with GCSEs and equivalent qualifications.  Congratulations to Naomi Dunlop, Alex Phillips and Jack Scott.
