Our fantastic team take on the Three Peaks again!
Following last year’s successful conquest of the Welsh Three Peaks, the team have reassembled to take on the National Three Peaks Challenge.
The National Three Peaks are Ben Nevis (Scotland), Scafell Pike (Lake District) and Snowdon (North Wales). The team are walking to support Velindre Cancer Centre and all of the work they do for the patients and families who use the centre.
Chepstow Comprehensive School Community has been touched by the work of Velindre Cancer Centre and as a team we are proud to be supporting the fantastic work they do. All proceeds raised are going straight to the charity and we are grateful to any local businesses that can offer donations of equipment and food for the trip.
The ‘Challenge’ consists of: 3 mountains, 3 countries, 3,407 metres and all in 24 hours!!!! Accepting the challenge of scaling the three highest peaks in the UK has not been taken lightly. Vigorous training walks, lots of planning and plenty of support from fellow staff members, has prepared this team to complete their biggest challenge yet.
JUNE 21st 5PM, follow the team on twitter, as they raise well deserved funds for Velindre Cancer Centre.
