Devauden Music Festival 2014

This family friendly music festival is held in Devauden village near Chepstow Monmouthshire.

Friday 16th May & Saturday the 17th May 2014 with music scheduled to run form 6.30pm on Friday and 11.00am on the Saturday.

The music festival is supported by a made in Monmouthshire marquee with locally sourced produce, a range of arts and craft stalls, along with food outlets and licensed bar selling local ales.

Line-up

The music is provided over two stages.  The Festival opens on Friday, 16th May with an evening of fabulous folk music headlined by the ever-popular Rusty Shackle.  Also included are Railroad Bill, Peel Your Own Spuds, Ellie Makes Music, Anthill Mob, and Meg Co

On Saturday, May 17th, there’ll be a full day of rock culminating in a party with Newport band Rogora Khart, a hugely talented bunch of musicians who deliver a bold memorable theatrical performance and are guaranteed to bring the festival to an amazing climax.

Among those appearing during this session will be, John Lilygreen, Houdini Dax,Crimes Against Folk, Don’t Tell Johnny, Freds House, Rock Choir, Natalie Simpson, Serenata Ladies Choir, Clyde Jefferson, Steve Payne and Paul Hobday, One Sick Lizard, Missin’ Rosie, Emily Park, Om Adom, Sera, Sloe Train, B.U.M.S. (Bikers Urban Morris Side), Interlude, and Maharaja Blues.

The winner of the under 18’s Battle of the Bands competition will also get to play on the main stage during the evening.

There is plenty to do, see and enjoy for all the family, this is one music festival that should not be missed.

Tickets are £8.00 on the Friday evening, and £12.00 for all day on Saturday.  Available on line from www.devaudenfestival.com or Devauden village green shop.

Car Parking

Temporary car parking will be provided at the edge of the village, so if coming by car follow the signs and use the designated car park.

Postcode NP16 6PE

From Chepstow

(M4) follow the B4283 towards Monmouth. Go through Itton and after 1.5 miles the entrance to the car park is on the left.

From Monmouth

Take the B4283 through Trellech towards Chepstow. At Devauden Green turn right towards Itton and Chepstow and the car park will be on your right as you leave the village. 

Camping

Free camping is available on the festival field and campers are welcome to use the village hall showers.
